Icons
What makes an iconic character, better yet, an iconic hero. If you ask me, it is perseverance, faith, determination, and a good heart, despite not being a perfect person. I just saw the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie, and while I will not give anything away, I will say that it allows the turtles to continue to be icons. How the characters of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Raphael were originally written, tears and toughness under fire, has influenced how I write my heroes. It definitely affected the writing of “Flashbang”. For example, the story of “Teddy Ninja” has at least, a splinter of their story’s influence, but with quite a twist:) Happy Reading!
